A word about Norns.Com

I'm Trygve Lode; you're probably used to thinking of me as an actor in action/adventure movies and martial arts flicks--but outside of the entertainment industry, I'm involved in quite a few high-tech and finance/investment businesses, many of which are named after elements in traditional Norse mythology (being the tall, Viking type in appearance and ancestry).

One such company's internet HQ was to be Norns.Com, named for the three Norns of Norse myth (these are the Norse equivalents of the Fates in Greek mythology) which seemed very appropriate for an investment group.

But the log files for the site revealed a surprising level of traffic, and after checking into what was going on, I found that almost all of the site's traffic was not people excited about the high-tech industry, investing, action/adventure movies, or even Norse mythology. Apparently "norns" is also the name of the main characters in a popular series of computer games, "Creatures," by Mindscape Entertainment.

I do not own Mindscape Entertainment, nor am I all that familiar even with the game itself, but because of the volume of traffic hitting Norns.Com, I decided that the best thing to do would be to create a website with at least some information and pointers to other sites for people interested in Norns of this type.

I apologise for the somewhat sketchy nature of the site at the moment; as time permits (and as I find material that doesn't violate anyone's copyright), I will add more information that I hope you'll find useful. Thanks for your patience!
